Chateau Cantemerle, 2004

Haut Medoc 5me Cru Classe

2004 has been described as the last affordable Bordeaux vintage and this fine example of 5th growth Cantermerle demonstrates that well. With a nose of smokey new oak, dark bramble fruit and lead pencil, the palate is round and multilayered with a lovely texture and long length.

Messias Port, 2004

Colheita Single Harvest Tawny Port
Special Offer | WAS £32.95 | NOW £24.95

The Messias colheita port from the good 2004 vintage has been aged in a barrel until bottling in 2017.

It has a beautiful straw colour. Young, fruity fresh aromas that evolve over time, giving rise to a bouquet that brings out the aromas of dried fruits, aromas of roasting, wood and spices. Soft, harmony and complexity in the end. Great finish - excellent wine.

The extended barrel aging has given this wine a complex fusion of dried fruit and cedar notes. On the palate the wine is smooth and full bodies with plenty nuts and sweet fruit on the palate, fine balance. A tremendous finish which goes on forever.

Warre's Vintage Port, 2004

Late Bottled Vintage Port In Gift Box as illustrated

***96 Points- Outstanding, Decanter World Wine Awards***

***Wine Doctor 17/20***

There is a lot to love with this late bottled Port. This excellent wine begins with aromatics of violets, blackberry jam, dark chocolate shavings and suggestions of coffee grounds. There are rich flavors of stewed blackberry, black cherry reduction and hints of eucalyptus and milk chocolate. The finish lingers alongside lithe minerality. This viscous wine will drink beautifully for at least another decade. (Best 2016-2028) - December, 2016 (OB), *International Wine Report*

This LBV from Warre's is still made in the traditional way - bottled unfiltered then aged for a number of years before being released only when it is ready.
